Super Bowl Betting Frenzy: Bettors Heavily Back Seahawks to Win

With Super Bowl LX just over a week away, betting markets are lighting up and early numbers show a clear preference from the public for the Seattle Seahawks to bring home the Lombardi Trophy. According to betting data, Seattle has drawn an overwhelming share of the wagers ahead of the championship matchup against the New England Patriots.

Seahawks Dominate Early Betting Action

As of the latest reporting, bets on the Seahawks account for roughly 74 % of the money wagered (handle) and 71 % of total tickets placed on the point spread for Super Bowl LX. Seattle opened as a 3.5-point favorite, and that line has since moved in the Hawks’ favor to around -4.5, reflecting confidence from bettors that the NFC champions will win convincingly.

On the money line market the straightforward bet on which team will win the game 64 % of the money and 58.5 % of individual bets are backing Seattle. At odds of -230, that translates to an implied win probability of nearly 70 % according to betting markets.

MVP and Prop Market Trends

While the Seahawks lead the overall betting trends, not all markets are exclusively favoring Seattle. Drake Maye, the young quarterback for New England currently leads the MVP betting market in both handle and ticket count, with attractive odds of +250. That suggests some bettors may be hedging on a Patriots upset while still seeking valuable individual player payouts.

For the Seahawks, Sam Darnold remains a favorite in the MVP odds at +115, and offensive stars like wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+550) and running back Kenneth Walker (+700) have also drawn significant attention as potential MVP contenders. Additionally, Smith-Njigba is the most bet-on player to score a touchdown, further illustrating the public’s enthusiasm for Seattle’s offense.

Why the Seahawks Are Getting Love From Bettors

Seattle’s strong offensive output this season, continuing high scoring through the playoffs helps explain their betting popularity. Heavy public support often pushes lines in the direction of the favored team, and with the Seahawks’ spread moving since opening, bettors appear confident in their chances.

Even so, betting interest on the Patriots especially in specific markets like MVP or particular prop bets signals that value-seeking bettors are also exploring alternatives rather than simply backing the favorite straight up.

Looking Ahead to Super Bowl LX

With Super Bowl LX scheduled for Sunday, February 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the betting landscape is still evolving. Early trends heavily favor the Seahawks, but as game day nears and more data enters the market, fans and bettors alike will be watching closely for line movement and fresh momentum.

Whether you’re placing a bet or just following along with excitement, the public betting trends are clear for now, most of the money is on Seattle to win Super Bowl LX.
